Google Adwords Class action Settlement

samantha severyn

A lawsuit was brought on against Google Inc. in 2008 for failing to disclose to their customers that while they will promote their ads they will do so on “parked domains” and error pages. Plaintiffs in this lawsuit claimed these parked domains, with little to no content, and error pages were low-quality violating California’s laws against unfair competition and false advertisement.

A settlement was finally reached for $22.5 Million! You qualify as a class member if, during the period from July 11, 2004 through March 31, 2008, you were a United States resident who had a Google AdWords account and were charged for clicks on advertisements appearing on parked domains or error pages.

The deadline to file a claim is 6/21/17
