Research Shows that Zostavax Shingles Vaccine Actually Gives People Shingles!

samantha severyn

Zostavax, a drug made by Merck, is a vaccine prescribed to people 50+ to prevent shingles. However, recent studies have shown that this vaccine actually makes individuals more susceptible to contracting the painful viral infection.

Shingles can appear anywhere on your body, mainly the torso, in stripes of painful blisters. Shingles are caused by the varicella-zoster virus — the same virus that causes chickenpox. After you've had chickenpox, the virus lies inactive in nerve tissue near your spinal cord and brain. Years later, the virus may reactivate as shingles. And it appears from many studies that the vaccine, Zostavax, reactivates the virus contributing to individuals suffering from short and long term or even permeant neurological injury.

Studies have shown that one out of 5 people diagnosed with the shingles disease has disabling nerve pain that lasts for many years.

This wouldn’t be the first time Merck was in a Lawsuit for deceiving or poisoning the public! They are also the ones who have paralyzed thousands of young children with their Gardasil vaccine. It’s time we take a stand!
