VW is in hot water again! This time for deceiving consumers by charging for some recall related items, not doing the full recall work (ancillary/related fixes), directing dealerships NOT to do all the work involved on warranty work, being “out of stock” on recall items for months and months.
In our direct experiences over the last year or so, we have seen Timing Chains fail destroying engines and VW knew about the issue but did not tell its customers.
Engine valves needing readjusting but charging the customer for the recall/warranty covered items.
Fuel Pumps recalled due to major leakage, but repaired in a halfassed way.
The list goes on and on - SO EVERY PERSON WHO HAD A RECALL, OR WARRANTY WORK DONE, AND THEY HAD TO PAY FOR EVEN TEN DOLLARS, SHOULD TAKE THE SURVEY BELOW TO SE IF YOU QUALIFY.
