Playtex Children's Dining Set Recalled

samantha severyn

Playtex plates and bowls for children with various printed designs have been recalled due to poor manufacturing of the products. The clear plastic layer over the graphics can peel or bubble from the surface of the plates and bowls, posing a choking hazard to your little loved ones.

Theme designs on the plate and cup sets include cars, construction, giraffes, princesses, superhero’s, and more. These plates and bowls were separately and as sets at popular retail chains such as Babies“R”Us, Target, Walmart, and other stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com from October 2009 through August 2017 for about $2.50 for a single plate or bowl and $15 for a Dining set.

Playtex has received 372 reports of the clear plastic layer over the graphics bubbling or peeling, 11 reports of pieces of the detached clear plastic found in children’s mouths, and four reports of choking on a piece of the clear plastic layer.

It is advised that consumers stop use of these products immediately and contact Playtex at 888-220-2075 for a FULL REFUND!
