Whole Foods stores in eight states are voluntarily recalling various prepared food products containing baby spinach due to the risk of a potential Salmonella contamination. This recall comes in response to a recall by Satur Farms.

Affected products include salads, pizza, sandwiches and wraps and were sold at Whole Foods stores in Connecticut, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island. The recall also affects any items containing baby spinach from the salad bars and hot bars that were purchased through January 23, 2019 at locations in these states.

Consumers are instructed to discard any of the affected products and can bring a valid receipt into stores for a full refund. For additional questions, consumers can also call 1-844-936-8255 Monday thru Friday from 7am – 10pm CST, or Saturday and Sunday from 8am – 6pm CST.
