Babyganics Baby Products (shampoo, sunscreen, diapers, detergent, etc.) has a name that implies “organic”. But further inspection shows this is not the case, and two mothers took them to court alleging only small quantities of organic ingredients were present in these products.
According to their website, Babyganics Baby Products make everything from sunscreen to bubble bath to shampoo, diapers and laundry detergent, claiming their products are made with plant-based ingredients, organic when practical, along with carefully chosen synthetics or preservatives, when needed.
Babyganics agreed to settle for $2.2 million!
Under the deal, KAS Direct LLC would provide 100 percent cash refunds to customers who provide a proof of purchase of their Babyganics products and a partial refund for a select number of purchased products without proof of purchase.
Eligible class members include anyone who purchased certain Babyganics organic products between September 7, 2010 – June 26, 2018.
Claim to receive a full or partial refund without proof of purchase by 10/29/2018.
