Lumber Liquidators Formaldehyde Settlement

In 2 lawsuits claiming Lumber Liquidators sold Chinese-made laminate flooring contained excessive levels of formaldehyde and failed to meet the industry standards for durability and scratch-resistance a settlement was reached for $36 million. 

You may qualify as a class member entitled to benefits if you purchased Chinese-made laminate flooring sold by Lumber Liquidators between Jan. 1, 2009 and May 31, 2015. 

  • Formaldehyde Class: Includes Class Members who purchased Chinese-made laminate flooring from Lumber Liquidators from Jan. 1, 2009 through Dec. 31, 2010.
  • Durability Class: Includes Class Members who purchased Chinese-made laminate flooring from Lumber Liquidators from Jan. 1, 2011 through May 31, 2015.

The potential award varies depending on which class you are in. If you feel you should be a member of both classes then submit a claim for each one. 

Proof of purchase is required.
