If you were offered a "lifetime" subscription to a paid radio service, you'd think you were paying for something until your last dying day, so you wouldn't have to worry anymore about re-upping every year. XM/Sirius radio, which is sold in new vehicles and also for home use says, "No, we meant the lifetime of the receiver or vehicle, not the consumer!" Oops. As if things weren't bad enough for XM/Sirius, now they've been caught in an obvious deception which could further damage their already staggering bottom line. The plaintiff lives in California and filed this suit in Central District Court. An investigation could lead to tens of thousands of co-plaintiffs in a large class action.
